Meet Van Gordon

A veteran musician, Van Gordon is known for his creative lyrics, illustrated with colorful melodies, and his distinctive vocal style.

As an original artist, Van Gordon fuses every genre from Folk. to Americana, as well as a vast array of rock, all wrapped up in the entertaining sound of jam.

Originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania, Van Gordon was raised in a religious family, and attributes his perseverance, hard work, and determination to the close family and friends while growing up.

For the last decade, he’s been involved of multiple bands and projects, such as touring and collaborating on album and single releases. In2022, Van Gordon became a solo project focusing on writing songs that relate tohis roots and the positivity of life. He’s made a name for himself in theeastern Pennsylvania area and surrounding cities as a force to be reckoned with,while bringing along his closest friends and talented musicians to perform liveon stage.

Van Gordon’s major influences growing up included Dave Matthews, John Mayer, O.A.R., Coldplay, and Mumford and Sons. The GratefulDead, Van Morrison, Neil Young, and The Band would later become massiveinspirations for him.

In late 2023, lead singer Marc Roberge of the Billboard chart success and world touring band O.A.R. found Van Gordon’s music on social media and asked him to perform live with the band at Mountainfest in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Since then, the story was broadcasted on a local Pennsylvania newsstation. Van Gordon has opened for Marc Roberge on multiple occasions. He has performed at notable venues in New York City such as Rockwood Music Hall,Brooklyn Music Kitchen, and Milkboy in Philadelphia.

Van Gordon is bringing a new sound by blending his folk and americana roots to the jam rock scene.
